Meet Mohua!

Hi! I am Mohua Ghose-Kofi and I am the Owner and Master Trainer of NuYou Fitness. I am an expert in building better and healthy bodies for over 19 years in the Oakville area. I have trained clients of all levels of fitness; from post-rehab to athletes.

I’ve been training with Mohua for the past 4 years. Her training has improved my stamina and strength for the past three marathons I have run. Mohua’s workouts are always interesting and challenges me to do my best. She has a great eye for form so you’re performing movements properly to avoid injury. Her friendly upbeat personality is second to none.

Wellness Coach helps people assess their current physical and emotional state. Which helps them set goals for what they want to achieve in their overall wellness and health aspect of their life. By giving them different types tools to use in order to work on their plan of action to achieve their goals.

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Massage helps reduce blood pressure, improves circulation & movement of lymph fluids, alleviate musculoskeletal problems, aid in post surgery or injury recovery, relieve stress and anxiety.

Group Fitness Classes

Functionally Fit, Functionally Strong, Bootcamp, Core Conditioning and Pilates. Those are some of the classes that we provide; in person or online. 5 to 8 people per class. We accept all levels of Fitness.

Kettlebell and TRX

Kettlebell and TRX class is a comprehensive, full-body workout that combines the strengths of two effective training modalities. Kettlebell exercises focus on building explosive power, strength, and endurance through dynamic movements. TRX suspension training emphasizes core stability, balance, and functional strength using body weight. Together, they create a synergistic workout that enhances muscle engagement, improves overall fitness, and boosts metabolic rate, making it suitable for individuals of all fitness levels seeking a challenging and versatile exercise routine.

Foundation and Stability:

This method enhances functional strength, balance, and coordination by integrating core and hip stability exercises with basic movement patterns. It improves body alignment, joint stability, and overall fitness, which supports advanced activities, reduces injury risk, and boosts movement efficiency for individuals at all fitness levels.

 

LIFT:

LIFT classes are designed to build strength. Emphasizing proper fitness principles and safe weight training techniques, our LIFT programs consist of three weekly sessions—Upper Body, Lower Body, and Full Body LIFT. This structure provides adequate muscle stimulation for growth and development while allowing sufficient recovery time between lifting sessions.

 

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training):

HIIT classes blend intense cardio and strength intervals with short rest periods, resulting in a higher heart rate and increased calorie burn compared to steady-state cardio. This approach engages all major muscle groups, promotes lean muscle growth, and improves fat loss, stamina, and cardiovascular health.
